Lavenham is a civil parish in the Babergh district of Suffolk. Our village is often described as one of the best examples of a mediaeval village in England. But our village is much more than buildings of historical importance- its where around 1800 residents live and work. Lavenham is a Core Village within Babergh District with services and shops serving a wide group of smaller communities.
